Extremely rare real Metalmark butterfly framed taxidermy - Rodinia calphurnia - damaged/repaired

Very rare real Metalmark butterfly, Rodinia calphurnia from Peru, presented in a handmade 5"x5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. You will receive the exact same framed specimen shown in the photos. This is a very imperfect A2 specimen. There is some minor scale damage at the tops of the forewings, a very small spot of missing scales on the left forewing. There is also a tear in the left hindwing which is pretty much impossible to spot. Most importantly, a large chunk of the right hind tail was missing and has been repaired with a small piece of wing from a different specimen. I mostly did this to create symmetry between the tails but the coloration and patterning on the added piece is not 100% exactly the same as the intact left tail. Normally I do not sell A2 specimens like this but this is such a rare and lovely species that I thought it worthwhile. I have never seen one of these in person before and all considered it is still a really nice example of a practically impossible to source species. Wingspan measures 1.6 inches. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
