Large green and purple American Scarab beetle, Chrysina beyeri, presented in a handmade 4.5"x4.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. Beautiful shiny green beetle with metallic purple legs. Measures 1.15 inches from top to bottom, not including legs. You will receive the same perfect specimen shown in the photos. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
