Rare armored weevil framed taxidermy - Cratosomus scaber

Giant armored weevil, Cratosomus scaber from French Guiana, presented in a 4.5"x4.5" wood frame. Very unusual weevil with an exceptionally hard shell covered in little horn like protrusions. Measures 1.25 inches from top to bottom not including the antenna or legs. You will receive the same perfect specimen shown in the photos. I only have this one. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
