Stunning Olive green hairstreak butterfly, Atlides polybe from Mexico, presented in a 4.5"x4.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. I have been trying a long time to source these, as they are incredibly beautiful. This one measures just under 1.7 inches across. I have another one listed separately showing the other side. You will receive the exact framed specimen shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
