Real and uncommon female Chinese moon moth, Actias ningpoana from China, presented in a handmade 8.5"x8.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. This is a exceptional and large example of this stunning species of silk moth. Wingspan measures 5.4 inches across. You will receive the same exceptional specimen shown in the photos. I am selling it at a discount because the left tail had to be glued back on. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world.
