Spectacular and large real female Clear Wing Saturn moth, Neocarnegia basirei from Brazil, presented in a handmade 6"x6" wood frame. Professionally mounted on white paper. You will receive the same perfect specimen shown in the photos. It has been years since I have been able to offer this exquisite species with beautiful clear "windows" in the wings. Looks like nothing else! Wingspan measures 3.5 inches. smaller male available in a separate listing. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
