Rarely offered real female butterfly, Delias rosenbergi from Indonesia, presented in a handmade 5.5"x5.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. This is a large Delias species with a wingspan of 2.65 inches.. I have been looking for these for a long time and I am so excited to finally be able to offer a few of them. Truly spectacular coloration and pattern! You will receive the same perfect butterfly shown in the photos. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
