Very large real Emperor moth, Nudaurelia venus from Tanzania, presented in a handmade 7.5"x7.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. Large 5.3 inch wingspan. This is the first time I have been able to offer this lovely species and only have a few in stock. You will receive the exact same lovely specimen shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
