Rarely offered glittering beetle, Chrysochroa corbetti from Thailand, presented in a handmade 5"x5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on white paper. One of the most beautiful Jewel beetles! The black patches on the wing covers are soft and velvety looking, while the green and magenta parts sparkle! Add to that the purple legs! You will receive the exact same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. This is a large one, measuring 1.75 inches from top to bottom, not including the legs or antenna. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
