Rarely offered purple moth, Caligatus angasii from Madagascar, presented in a handmade 5"x5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. Wingspan measures 2.1 inches. You will receive the exact same framed specimen shown in the pictures. This spectacular moth has a wingspan of 1.8 inches. I only have two of these in stock, never came across them before now. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
