Rarely offered tiny Maroon Geometer moth, Erateina species from Peru, presented in a handmade 4.5"x4.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. Wingspan measures just .85 inches :) This is the first time I have ever been able to offer this beautiful species and this is the only example I have. You will receive the exact same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
