Rarely offered metallic butterfly, Anteros acheus from Peru, presented in a handmade 4.5"x4.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. Incredible species with little droplets of metallic rainbow coloration on the wings. Wingspan measures 1.55 inches. You will receive the exact same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. Wingspan measures just over 1.5 inches. I have prepared this specimen with the wings slightly lowered, in the style that was common during the late 19th century. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA.
