Exquisite and rarely offered real large Longhorn beetle, Psalidognathus friendi from Colombia, presented in a handmade 7"x7" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. The body alone measures 2.3 inches from top to bottom, 3.8 inches from the antennas down to the feet! You will receive the exact same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. I have an extremely rare purple form available in a separate listing. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
