Gorgeous metallic twelve tailed Helicopis acis from Peru, presented in a handmade 4.5"x4.5" wood frame. Pristine condition with little droplets of metallic silver on the hind wings! Professionally mounted on black paper. This is a rarely offered species! Wingspan measures 1.85 inches. I have prepared this specimen with the wings slightly lowered, in the style that was popular during the late 19th century. You will receive the same framed butterfly shown in the photos.
