Gorgeous and seldom offered silver jewel beetle, Chrysina chrysargyrea from Costa Rica, presented in a handmade 4.5"x4.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. Looks like real silver! This is one of the most beautiful beetles in the world, and quite a bit larger than most of the other metallic beetles from the Americas. This one is 1.15 inches from tip to tip, not including legs or antenna. You will receive the exact same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
