Rare XL white butterfly, Morphotaenaris schoenbergi from Indonesia, presented in a handmade 7.5"x7.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. Wingspan measures 4.8 inches. This specimen has a few very small tears in the wings, one on the side of the left hindwing and one on the inside of the right hindwing. Normally I would repair and glue such things but in my experience it is better to let them be on a white specimen because the glue would show through if I used it. You will receive the exact same excellent specimen shown in the photos. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting and providing our insect frames for over a decade to nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets.
