Stunning and pristine large XL female Peacock Swallowtail, Papilio dehaani from Japan, presented in a handmade 8.5"x8.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. Wingspan measures 5.45 inches, this is the biggest one I have ever seen! A rarely offered subspecies of this beautiful group of swallowtails. You will receive the same perfect framed specimen shown in the photos. Summer form. I have prepared this specimen with the wings slightly lowered in the style that was common during the late 19th century. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets.
