Uncommon real blue Swallowtail butterfly, Graphium stresemanni from Indonesia, presented in a handmade 5.5"x5.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on white paper. A close cousin to the purple Graphium weiskei. The pictured specimen is the one you will receive. This is a big one with a wingspan measuring 3.15 inches. I have prepared this specimen with the wings slightly lowered, in the style that was popular during the late 19th century. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA.
