Real blue leaf mimicking butterfly, Kallima inachus from China, presented in a handmade 6.5"x6.5" wood frame. You will receive the exact same framed butterfly shown in the pictures. I have prepared this specimen with the wings slightly lowered in the style that was common during the late 19th century. Wingspan measures 3.25 inches. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting and providing our insect frames for over a decade to nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
