Two of the most beautiful butterflies in the world, Morpho achilles from Peru and Danaus plexippus from the United States, presented together in a handmade 8.5"x9.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. The wingspan on the Morpho measures 4.35 inches, 3.35 inches for the Monarch. You will receive the exact same perfect framed specimens shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
