Flawless and rare Charaxes nobilis from the Republic of Central Africa, presented in a handmade 6"x6" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. This is an incredibly beautiful butterfly with hard to photograph pearlescent wings. I have been trying to find these for years and am so excited to finally be able to offer a perfect A1+ reared example of this rare Noble Charaxes! Wingspan measures just under 3 inches. You will receive the exact same framed specimen shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
