Real metallic blue dragonfly, Euphaea refulgens from the Philippines, presented in a handmade 5"x5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. You will receive the exact same framed insect shown in the pictures. This species has a metallic sheen in the blue parts of the wings. Wingspan measures 2.3 inches. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting and providing our insect frames for over a decade to nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM.
