Very large and beautiful female flower beetle, Goliathus orientalis from the Congo, presented in a handmade extra deep 7.5"x9" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. Very large and clean example with a wingspan of 6.3 inches. The body of this specimen measures 2.9 inches from the tip of the horn down to the bottom of the shell, not including the legs. You will receive the exact same perfect specimen that you see in the photos. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting and providing our insect frames for over a decade to nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM.
