Real butterfly, Hypna clytemnestra from Peru, presented in a handmade 6"x6" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. This unusual shaped butterfly has elaborate patterning which resembles dead foliage. Amongst the browns and creams there are little dots of metallic silver! You will receive the exact same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM.
