Beautiful and large opalescent Pearl Morpho butterfly, Morpho sulkowskyi from Peru, presented in a handmade 6.5"x6.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. Gorgeous mother of pearl that shines blue, lavender, and pink depending on the angle that it is viewed from. 4.15 wingspan. I have prepared this specimen with the wings slightly lowered, in the style that was popular during the late 19th century. You will receive the exact same perfect butterfly shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting and providing our insect frames for over a decade to nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets.
