Rare Kaiser-i-Hind butterfly, Teinopalpus imperialis from Vietnam, presented in a handmade 6.5"x6.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on white paper. The abdomen has been removed to prevent grease from staining the wings. The wingspan measures 3.2 inches. You will receive the exact same beautiful specimen that is shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting and providing our insect frames for over a decade to nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
