Extremely large real Hercules Rhinoceros beetle, Dynastes hercules ecuatorianus from Ecuador, presented in a handmade extra deep 7.5"x9.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. One of the worlds largest beetles! This particular beast measures 4.85 inches (125mm) from the tip of the horn down to the bottom of the shell. Photos are of the exact same perfect specimen that you will receive. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
