Extremely large real Elephant Rhino beetle, Megasoma elephas from Mexico, presented in an extra deep handmade 9"x10.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. A real giant, 7.5 inch wingspan and a velvety brown shell! Measures 4.45 inches from the tip of the horn to the bottom of the shell (not including legs.) These come in a variety of sizes but this one is way on the HUGE end of the scale and is the largest of any type of beetle that I have available at the moment. Photos are of the exact same perfect specimen you will receive. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
