XXL real Rhinoceros beetle, Megasoma mars from Peru, presented in a handmade extra deep 7.5"x8.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. One of the worlds largest beetles! This particular beast measures 4.15 inches (113mm) from top to bottom, not including the legs. Photos are of the exact same specimen that you will receive. There is a tiny hairline crack about 5mm long near the bottom of the right elytra and a small scratch in near the middle of the head. I have also reattached the bottom left leg. I am selling this specimen at a discount due to these imperfections but it is still a really beautiful and impressive creature! Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets.
