Real yellow Delias butterfly, Delias lemoulti from Indonesia, presented in a handmade 5"x5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. This is a difficult to come by species, very happy to have it back in stock after a long time of searching. Wingspan measures 2.25 inches across. I have prepared this specimen with the wings slightly lowered, in the style that was popular during the late 19th century. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting and providing our insect frames for over a decade to nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
