Beautiful black and yellow Swallowtail butterfly, Papilio machaon hippocrates from Japan, presented in a 6"x6" wood frame. Professionally mounted on white paper. You will receive the same perfect framed butterfly shown in the photos. This subspecies is quite a bit larger than the more common varieties. This particular example has a wingspan of 3.35 inches. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA.
