Unbelievably stunning and very rare real butterfly, Polyura dehanii from Indonesia, presented in a handmade 6"x6" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. You will receive the exact same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. Definitely one of the worlds most beautiful species, and highly prized by collectors. I am so excited to finally be able to offer such a special specimen. I only have a very few of these and a few even larger females which are available in a separate listing. Very large and pristine example with a wingspan of 2.65 inches! Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
