Very large real African Flower beetle, Goliathus goliatus, presented in an handmade 8.5"x8.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper. This species has a beautiful velvety deep maroon colored shell. 5.7 inch wingspan. The body of the specimen measures 3.15 inches from the tip of the horn to the bottom of the shell, not in including the legs. You will receive the same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in the USA.
