WOW! I am so happy to finally be able to offer this majestic species in PRISTINE condition! It only took me my whole life to finally get to see one in person lol! And it was totally worth it! Very rarely offered real lavender butterfly, Papilio laglaizei from Papua New Guinea, presented in a handmade 6"x6" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name and country of origin printed below. This species of butterfly mimics the poisonous moth species Alcides agathyrsus. You will receive the same otherwordly framed specimen shown in the photos. I have a female specimen available in a separate listing. Wingspan measures 3.3 inches. Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, and television and film sets.
